How are SEO, AEO and GEO different?
SEO addresses organic search visibility. AEO addresses the presentation of direct answers. GEO describes optimisation for discovery and citation in generative search experiences. The labels overlap in practice.
The foundation is accurate information on crawlable pages. A new label does not make unsupported claims more credible or remove the need for conventional search fundamentals.
What does Google require for AI Overviews?
Google says normal SEO best practices remain relevant to AI Overviews and AI Mode. Its guidance identifies no additional technical requirements or special schema needed for inclusion.
We focus on direct answers, clear entity information, relevant internal links and visible supporting evidence. We do not sell a special markup format as a guaranteed route into AI answers.
How is content made easier to understand?
Content is easier to understand when a heading asks one question and the first sentence answers it precisely. Definitions, comparisons and tables then explain the attributes that matter.
We separate a business’s own evidence from general industry claims. Case studies identify the source, time period and measurement method. Repeating a statistic without those details creates ambiguity rather than authority.
- One canonical answer per topic
- Consistent names and service descriptions
- Relevant primary-source references
- Visible evidence matching structured data
How are AI mentions assessed?
AI mentions are assessed by recording the query, platform and observation date. Responses change and a single screenshot does not establish reliable visibility.
Our owner reports successful AI discovery for client sites; named examples need permission and supporting records before publication. A project starts with content and accessibility review, not a promise that every assistant will recommend the business.
